Hansel and Gretel at Halton Theater November 17,18,19, 2017
Ms. Hoyt will be playing the role of Gretel at the Halton Theater for the Performing Arts this November in "Hansel and Gretel." The show will perform November 17, 18, and 19, 2017.
Hansel and Gretel - December 1-3 Pirates of Penzance - September
Ms. Hoyt will be returning to "Hansel and Gretel" this Christmas as Gretel. This will be her fourth production of "Hansel and Gretel," and her first time singing Gretel since college. She has performed the role of Hansel 36 times. A new addition to her 2017 schedule: she will now be singing Mabel in "The Pirates of Penzance" this September. Both of these productions are with the Little Opera Company of Charlotte.

SYNOPSIS: Once upon a time, there were three billy goats enjoying a game of hide-and-seek after school one day when a bully blocks the bridge -their way home- and takes their doll. When two of the goats resolve to find a new route home, the smallest goat stands up to the bully to get her doll back and cross the bridge, and even makes a friend out of him! An exciting operatic version of the well-known story based on scenes from operas by W. A. Mozart, G. Donizetti and G. Rossini.

Ms. Hoyt will be singing the role of Annina in Opera Carolina's 2017 production of Verdi's "La Traviata. " The production will star Elizabeth Caballero as Violetta and Sean Panikkar as Alfredo. This will be Ms. Hoyt's Opera Carolina mainstage debut.

The Mikado, July 8, 15, & 17, 2016
This summer Hannah will sing the role of "Luna" (previously known as Yum-Yum) in Little Opera Company of Charlotte's new production of The Mikado inspired by game and anime culture. Performances will be in Tate Hall, CPCC's Central Campus at 7:30 PM July 8, and at Sharon Presbyterian Church July 15. The show is also performing at the anime convention HoshiCon.

Mosaic Arts is an umbrella company of Opera Carolina, focused on collaboration, community outreach, and making opera more accessible to future generations
I Pagliacci and Aleko, April 10, 14, and 16, 2016
Opera Carolina presents the double bill of I Pagliacci and the American premiere of Rachmaninoff's Aleko, at the Belk Theater April 10, 14, and 16. Ms. Hoyt will be singing in the Opera Carolina Chorus.
